Our athletic training room also has an advanced electrical stimulation unit, which helps to decrease acute and chronic pain as well as spasms. It is also useful to increase blood flow to various muscles and tissues to promote healing. Finally, it can be used to improve joint mobility that has been limited due to injury.

SPORTS NEWS ALERT! Holy Child has received the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Safe Sports School award for our Sports Medicine Program. The award champions safety and recognizes secondary schools that provide safe environments for student athletes. The award reinforces the importance of providing the best level of care, injury prevention, and treatment.
